I watched this movie over the weekend, a French animated movie about the Islamic Revolution. I was quite impressed. The plot was interesting enough to keep my attention, but I loved the visual style. The simple character design worked well. Pretty much the entire movie is a flashback, and the transitions are very creative in parts. I particularly liked the scene in the sea and the style of the water.

very cool style. huge fan of the b&w treatment. i love the flames from the burning city. the water is very cool too (as JZ mentioned). plus she's got an iron maiden poster.
